Overview
Our permanent pile docks are the ideal foundation for a boathouse or sundeck-style boathouse and are custom designed for your site. They can be designed with multiple boat slips and columns in place for a future boathouse.
Details
Our custom designed boathouses are constructed on either a crib, permanent pile dock or in some cases our floating dock systems. We will build your design or ours, and distance is not a factor in consideration of having us build your boathouse. We cover the entire Northeast and are equipped with a portable workboat and we often will pre-fabricate or “kit” boathouse structures in our state of the art manufacturing facility to expedite the time on site.
We assist you with all phases of your project — consultation, design, permits, and construction.

How do I get an estimate or proposal?
The best way to start is to complete our Quote Request (yellow button on the top right of our website), which will give us the basic information to start an estimate for your project. Or, you can call us at 800-870-6756 during business hours (or stop by!) and talk with one of our Sales Staff, who can help get the information needed to provide a quote.
How far in advance should I plan my project?
Custom projects should be planned well in advance. Time frames are affected by several factors such as product demand, permitting, manufacturing, service, and weather conditions.
Do you offer site visits?
In most cases we try to provide a preliminary cost estimate prior to visiting your site. However, there are situations that require a site visit in order to determine your needs prior to providing an estimate or proposal.
Who handles permitting?
Some projects may require a permit, depending on the scope of the project and the body of water involved. The Dock Doctors® have several years of experience working with many of the State, Town, and Federal agencies to obtain these permits for you.
Can you work with my architect?
Yes! We have worked with many architects and builders to build the boathouse foundation to accommodate your boathouse plans.
