Sales Estimator

The Dock Doctors has been serving both residential and commercial waterfront property owners for over 34 years and is the most diversified marine manufacturer and service company within the Northeast. The right candidate should have knowledge in at least one of the following areas: architectural and/or designing experience, job costing/material take-offs for estimating purposes. This person will be working with our existing sales team performing material take-offs and estimates for proposed and contracted projects. Candidate must have a mechanical aptitude along with the willingness to learn our product line to further assist the sales team. Motivation with initiative are key attributes for the right individual to succeed at this position. Assistant Office & Accounts Receivable Manager

The Dock Doctors has been in business for over 34 years and is a leading marine products manufacturer and service company covering the entire Northeast. We are seeking an individual to be an assistant to our Office & Accounts Manager. Position will include learning all aspects applicable to accounts receivable including but not limited to invoicing, deposits, processing payments and collections. Position to also include processing all incoming sales orders, scheduling with customers seasonally for product deliveries along with assisting with customer service to facilitate quality customer care and communication. Other duties include preparing the internal weekly office schedule, assisting with proof reading and off season mailing list research and data entry. Self-motivation, attention to detail and good communication skills within a small business environment along with ability to be a team player are critical attributes to the success of this position. The seasonality of our business also requires diversity and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment during the busy summer season. Warehouse Assistant & Wood Shop Laborer

The Dock Doctors is a marine product manufacturer providing products and services throughout the Northeast. This is a diverse position working within our warehouse and our assembly shop. This position includes staging and loading materials and products for service crews in preparation for installation during the peak season along with assisting with the delivery of product for customers. Assembly shop duties would include, but not limited to the final assembly of wooden decking panels for the dock surface, bolting on floatation to the aluminum or galvanized steel frames, cutting quantities of wood accurately for final assembly of dock systems, assembling/bolting and/or screwing together dock accessories such as fenders and cleats. This position requires good mechanical aptitude for performing and experience with safe operation of stationary and power hand tools. If desired, this position would also provide the ability to learn the packing and shipping aspect of our paddle product line which ships via UPS and/or common carrier. Candidate(s) must be punctual, reliable, work in a productive manner with safety and quality in mind. This is often a physically demanding position based on the need to off-load products at delivery sites.
