Our floating walkways are an alternative to a permanent bridge or walkway for transitioning over wetlands, beach dunes, marshes and small bodies of water. Our floating walkways are custom-fabricated using galvanized steel, and are designed to meet the needs of residential, municipal, commercial and ADA accessible sites. Ideal for pedestrian walkways, golf cart bridges, wetlands and marshes, beach access, snowmobiles, handicapped access, we can custom-design a product for your site and needs.
- Our pile-supported steel platforms can be incorporated as an alternative to concrete abutments.
- Our floating walkways are designed for use as a pedestrian walkway, or can be designed for small recreational vehicles such as golf carts, snowmobiles and ATV’s.
- We offer installation of shoreline concrete abutments either pre-cast or formed in place for bridge designs that require this type of securing method.

How do I get an estimate or proposal?

Who handles permitting?
Some projects may require a permit, depending on the scope of the project and the body of water involved. The Dock Doctors® have several years of experience working with many of the State, Town, and Local agencies to obtain these permits for you.
Do you work with engineers?
We specialize in solutions for restrictive parameters in permitting, location, terrain, and limited space.
We can custom fabricate products in our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility – including ADA compliant designs, innovative anchoring, and custom sized and shaped dock sections.
Our team of approximately 60 year-round employees includes designers, CAD specialists, project managers and highly skilled fabricators and installers. We will be your partner through the design, permitting, manufacturing and installation.
