Commercial Stairs
- Freespan of 112’ from top to bottom.
- Hot dipped galvanized steel frames welded in three sections spliced together to create the overall length of stairs.
- Black powder-coated finish.
- Commercial code approved railings.
- The stairs were designed to free span from top to bottom over a hillside on the backside of a levy. Due to the site location, the only option was to span from top to bottom; any excavation or pilings along the hillside would create leaks within the levy.
Commercial Platform
- The platform was designed as an observation platform for the Cohoe’s Falls at the Erie Boulevard Hydro plant.
- The stairs create safe access for residents to enjoy the site for recreation and fishing.
- The platform is supported by galvanized steel pilings reinforced with concrete footings at the riverbed.
- The platform comprised of welded modular frames craned into position creating the large observation platform.
