Overview

(1) pre-cut length of 1-1/2″ aluminum leg pipe and (1) safety cap for the 3′ x 4′ stair platform.

Four stanchions are built into the stair platform frame and flush to the sides of the platform. They accept standard 1-1/2″ pipe (ordered separately) or any pipe that measures 1-15/16” O.D. (outside diameter).

This standard 1-1/2″ pipe fits into the leg sleeves that are built into the stair platform frame to secure your stair platform.

Includes (1) leg pipes, cut to length and (1) safety cap.

NOTE: the stair platform has (4) leg sleeves. Pipe kits are sold in pairs because you may want different length leg pipe for the front vs. the back leg sleeves, depending upon your site.

Step 1: Measure the horizontal run, which is the distance (horizontally) from where the stairs would start and end. This can be done with a board (or something flat), a level and a tape measure (or string).

Step 2: Measure the vertical rise, which is the vertical distance from where the stairs would end, vertically up to the height at which they would start.

Can I buy the pipe locally?

Yes, most home improvement stores carry aluminum leg pipe. We will cut the pipe to length desired and include the post cap. If you need a dimension not offered, please contact us and we can cut the pipe to desired length.
