Mounting Requirements
The Kayak Lift is designed to mount directly to a concrete seawall or a permanent dock and must be installed on a level/flat surface. Proper mounting is critical to the correct operation and the safety of the user. You will need 2 inches (2”) of clearance between the mounting plate on the launch mount and your seawall, dock or other mounting surface. You will need mounting hardware (qty 4, not included) to mount the launch mount to your surface. The fasteners should not be less than 1/2” diameter and a high grade 316 Stainless steel. If you are mounting to a concrete seawall we offer a mounting kit for this application.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does shipping cost?
The Kayak Lift ships FREE within the continental USA via UPS ground. Additional items or optional items will have standard UPS shipping costs. For orders outside the 48 US states, please contact us for a shipping cost.
How do I mount this to my dock or seawall?
Your Kayak Lift & Launch must be installed on a level/flat surface, and will need 2 inches (2”) of clearance between the mounting plate on the launch mount and your seawall, dock or other mounting surface. If
your location slopes more than 2” towards the water, you will need to find an alternate mounting location.
CAUTION: Based on the design of this product, it is critical that the structure that it attaches to is substantial enough to carry the cantilevered weight of the lift, paddle craft and occupant – there is no support from the ground. Do not mount to rotten wood, crumbling concrete or other insecure surface, the lift could fail resulting in potential bodily injury and/or property damage.
Is assembly required?
Yes, please see assembly instructions above. Many customers have found a local boat lift company or handyman to install the lift for them.

I just want to say WOW! This is an amazing Kayak launch system. I installed it myself on our canal seawall. I also purchased the 2 Kayak rack and I couldn’t be happier. My wife has balance issues from a back injury and with this set up she can move the Kayak off the rack and slide it right on to the lift. She can lower it down to the water get in Read more about review stating I just want to say WOW! This is an amazing Kayak launch system.and off she goes. She is so happy to have a way to get her Kayak in the water all by herself whenever she wants. So glad I found this system and it was worth every penny. Thanks so much!! – JD

I had the kayak lift installed on the end of my deck and I absolutely LOVE it. Working with Dock Doctors was a wonderful experience. Easy to get in touch with and very responsive! Thank-you Andre! I wanted something that I would be able to use on my own (I’m a female in my 50s). I am able to slide the kayak easily on and off the lift, crank it up and down on my own. Since I have every intention of kayaking through my 60s, 70s and 80s I appreciate the metal handle/overhang for balance for getting in and out. Great design, easy to use and fantastic customer service!

We are very happy with our kayak launcher! We are seniors and find the sturdiness and the security of being able to use the bar to get in and out is great. Thanks for a great solution to our situation. The instructions we downloaded online were very clear and easy to follow. The only drawback for us was having to have it shipped in from the USA since we live in Canada which of course added significantly to the original price of the kayak.
