Overview
Bolt-together aluminum stairs with a customizable rise and run*
Our lightweight aluminum stair kits are rigid and adjustable offering a designed with features to accommodate a variety of waterfront applications. Our design offers a comfortable rise and run which is adjustable during assembly to accommodate your site. These pre-manufactured, bolt-together stair systems are in-stock and readily available in lengths from 4’11” to 18’. Offering a lifetime of virtually maintenance-free features, these quality aluminum stairs are an economical solution for waterfront access and ideal for replacing your old wooden steps.

(include 2 footpads, 2 leg pipes (18″), 2 safety caps, 2 brackets & hardware to attach to stair base) - 3′ x 4′ Platform: Can be used as an approach or landing (or both) for our aluminum stair kits
*Customizable rise and run is determined upon assembly and cannot be adjusted after final assembly of product.

How to measure for stairs
A few simple measurements can help determine the recommended length of stairs for your particular site. You will need to determine horizontal run and vertical rise. See below for steps on how to do this.
Determine horizontal run and vertical rise.
Step 1: Measure the horizontal run, which is the distance (horizontally) from where the stairs would start and end. This can be done with a board (or something flat), a level and a tape measure (or string).
Step 2: Measure the vertical rise, which is the vertical distance from where the stairs would end, vertically up to the height at which they would start.
Determine which size stairs will work for your site
Refer to the rise distance on our chart to determine which stairs will work for your site.
For example: If you determined you have a 6-foot rise and 10-foot run, start with the 6-foot rise under each rise column (minimum and maximum) on our chart. Our 8, 10 or 12-step stairs would work for your site. The 8-step stairs would be the “steepest” and the 12-step stairs would be the “shallowest”. The sweet spot would be the 10-step stairs.
