Overview
Our heavy-duty aluminum floating docks and gangways are ideal for residential and commercial applications where the exposure requires a heavier-duty system but does not necessarily require our custom steel truss floating docks. These systems are designed based on your specific site requirements and recreational needs and are custom-fabricated in our Vermont manufacturing facility. These docks are ideal for residential & commercial applications, including children’s summer camp docks, homeowner association docks and municipal docks.

- Black polyethylene flotation filled with expanded polystyrene & bolted directly to the frame
- Variety of decking options available (cedar, composite, aluminum)
- Typical anchoring methods as well as specialty anchoring for unique sites
- Can be incorporated with our Commercial Kayak Launch Dock and/or be designed to be an ADA Accessible Dock

How far in advance should I plan my project?
Custom projects should be planned well in advance. Time frames are affected by several factors such as product demand, permitting, manufacturing, service, and weather conditions. Our stock products are typically available for pick up within 1-2 days, or can be delivered within a 1–3 week time frame.
Do you offer site visits?
In most cases we try to provide a preliminary cost estimate prior to visiting your site. However, there are situations that require a site visit in order to determine your needs prior to providing an estimate or proposal.
How do I get an estimate or proposal?
The best way to start is to complete our Quote Request (yellow button on the top right of our website), which will give us the basic information to start an estimate for your project. Or, you can call us at 800-870-6756 during business hours (or stop by!) and talk with one of our Sales Staff, who can help get the information needed to provide a quote.
Who handles permitting?
Some projects may require a permit, depending on the scope of the project and the body of water involved. The Dock Doctors® have several years of experience working with many of the State, Town, and Federal agencies to obtain these permits for you.
