The Dock Doctors Seasonal Service Schedule

Lake Champlain Update - June 17, 2019

The snowy winter and extremely rainy spring have continued to impact the seasonal installation of docks on Lake Champlain. The lake level is still too high to install many dock systems, and is receding very slowly as we have continued to have a very rainy spring. The slow receding of the water is making a smaller and smaller window for the many docks that need to be installed on Lake Champlain.

Because of the continued high water, we are unfortunately in a position that requires us to prioritize seasonal installs by the type of dock systems that customers have. We will be installing floating docks and mega docks first, as they can feasibly be installed in higher water, then we will install docks with boatlifts, and finally leg and wheel docks without boatlifts. We will be balancing this with working in geographic areas to be as efficient as possible. *(Please note: Mega docks have 3” leg pipe vs 1 ½” leg pipe).

Due to this compressed schedule AND the lake level still not low enough to install even some floating or mega docks, we are anticipating there are many docks that will unfortunately not be installed until after July 4th. See below for a more specific schedule by area and type of dock system.

If you decide that you DO NOT want your dock installed due to the smaller window of use this year, or have made other arrangements, please let us know so we do not send a crew to do your installation.

If you have specific questions, the most efficient way to reach us is via email. We will respond as soon as possible, however, we appreciate your patience during this busy time of year as we work hard on all of the logistics involved.

Thank you for your patience and wishing all our customers a happy and healthy year.
