With safety being a top priority, the underwater LED lights offered by Aqua Dock Lights operate on safe low voltage DC (direct current). Our specially designed AC to DC transformers incorporate internal electronic overload protection. An added safety benefit to lighting your waterfront property is for any person (especially small children) or pets that may unintentionally fall into the water at night. Your underwater LED light is a life saver. Even for a grown adult falling into dark water is a disorientating and life threatening event. With illuminated water, disorientation is either eliminated or greatly reduced.
